Professional Projects
Below are several of my more professional projects outside of University courses or personal work. I have most recently worked as a book illustrator intern for Readeezy. In the past I have worked with Campesinos sin Fronteras to make an informative fotonovela about pesticide safety in the home that will be published by John Hopkins University. I also have worked with the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona to create a zine comic about photographer Louis Carlos Bernal for their exhibition on him.
Readeezy Internship
From September to December 2024, I was a Book Illustrator Intern for Readeezy, a company that makes e-books for struggling tween and teen readers. I had the responsibility of illustrating all pages of the book I was assigned, designing the characters, making small animations to some pages, and creating the book cover. Below this are a few examples of my work from that project.
